Close To My Heart Valentine's day card.
Hey guys,
Today I made a Valentine's card using the Close To My Heart Love Ya Silly stamp set. I cut an A2 sized card out of white card stock. I stamped the card with monsters in Versamark ink and covered them in white embossing powder and used my heat gun to melt the powder. Then I used my Tim Holtz mini blending tool and blended New England Ivy, Juniper, and Flaxen inks over the card and monsters. After that I took a damp, almost dry, baby wipe and wiped the ink off the monsters. I took a piece of Cashmere card stock and cut it into a banner shape and stamped my sentiment on it in black ink and attached it to the card using my stapler. I wanted to add some sparkle to the card so I added a piece of gold and white shimmer trim and cut them at an angle and added them next to the banner piece.
I hope you like my card, Thanks for stopping by.

Close To My Heart thank you card.
Hey guys,
Today I made a thank you card using Close To My Heart Cut Above holiday card kit. I took a card base and cut it in half. Then I took a piece of the blue wood grain paper, and cut it the same height as the card, and took off about 1/4 of a inch on each side. I used the snowman and bird stickers from the kit. I cut down a tag (also from the kit) just a little to fit better on the card and I used some gray and white twine and knotted it at the end. I used one of the hostess stamp sets called Thanksgiving Wreath for the "thanks" and stamped it in cranberry ink. I used some red glitter glue on the snowman's nose. I think it gives him a little something extra.
I hope you like the card, and enjoy your day.
